During the course of your college career, you will have several chances to become involved in campus organizations. One avenue for your consideration is membership in a fraternity. To assist you in making this crucial decision, Sigma Chi offers rushees the chance to be part of one of the strongest, most renowned, and most prestigious international fraternities in the Greek world. Sigma Chi has initiated more than 243,000 brothers in its 153-year history - the second largest number of any Greek-letter organization. We were also recently honored by the US Congress, being the first and only greek letter society so honored.

The Iota Chi Chapter of Sigma Chi has a long-standing history of being one of the strongest fraternities on UC San Diego's campus. We are an exceptionally diverse group of students with members participating in several student organizations such as college councils, the inter-fraternal council, and NCAA Athletics. And whether we are winning IFC sports, putting on our famous week long Derby Days, or traveling in RVs to Palm Springs, Las Vegas and Laughlin for our highly anticipated FORMALS, we clearly have the most fun!
